- Inspiration and motivation
Our inspiration is those sublime moments in music when player and instrument combine to something more than the whole, when the purity of sound is no longer describable with words. Every thing we do in our approach to violinmaking is with the concept of providing the musician with the means to achieve this ideal. Understanding the material is the basis to achieving these aims.
Our working philosophy is that the better one understands the dynamic properties of instruments the better possibilities one has of building consistently tonally successful instruments.
